Objectives
After attending this course, participants will be able to:

  1. Discuss the evaluation and management of patients with a behavioral health emergency, including special populations
  2. Analyze current trends in research that may be translated into improving clinical practice in behavioral health emergency care
  3. Develop new methods of teaching evidence-based care for behavioral health emergencies
  4. Identify and apply the principles of quality and safety within a healthcare setting
