Objectives
After attending this course, participants will be able to:

  1. Apply interprofessional approaches to improve patient outcomes and care coordination.
  2. Integrate evidence-based strategies into the management of complex clinical scenarios.
  3. Identify and mitigate systems-based issues that contribute to medical errors.
  4. Enhance communication and teamwork across professional boundaries.
  5. Incorporate health equity principles into clinical and organizational decision-making.
  6. Recognize and discuss the clinical implications of recent research.
  7. Identify and apply the principles of quality and safety.
  8. Classify and apply pharmacology use in various disease states.
  9. Identify ways to void liability in medical practice.
  10. Discuss the patient experience and ways to apply principles to ensure patient satisfaction.
