Occurs weekly every Wednesday starting on 7/5/2023 at 7:00 AM
Wednesday, July 5, 2023, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, Cornell Rd, #3, Rm 102, Cleveland, OH

1. Identify and apply the principles of quality and safety to their practice
2. Discuss the approach to cardiorespiratory emergencies using the systematic PALS approach
3. Evaluate and manage a pediatric patient who experiences a sudden witnesses VF/VT arrest
4. Manage the first 10 minutes of a witnessed VF arrest using the required skills
5. Demonstrate child and infant CPR skills and the use of an AED
6. Describe how to manage the 14 Core Cases utilizing each case’s objectives from their checklist evaluation forms
7. Utilize new psychomotor skills such as intubation, defibrillation, and cardioversion
8. Discuss new clinical skills such as EKG interpretation
9. Demonstrate effective communication and team dynamics both as a team member and a team leader
10. Achieve a satisfactory score (84 or greater) on the post written exam.

Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
