Objectives
After this course, participants will be able to:

  1. 1. Define issues that contribute to low engagement of minorities and identify successful approaches to improve engagement with healthcare providers
  2. 2. Discuss the importance of systemic inflammation and identify strategies to manage comorbidities of HIV
  3. 3. Apply new approaches to complex care situations of people living with HIV
  4. 4. Discuss multifactorial issues of managing an ageing HIV population
  5. 5. Review hot topics relevant to HIV care, including stem cells and gene therapy, telemedicine and women’s health prevention
