Objectives
At the conclusion of this activity participants will be able to:

  1. · Discuss a multidisciplinary approach to patient care using integrative modalities and lifestyle approaches
  2. · Recognize the benefits and indications of mind-body interventions
  3. · Identify nonpharmacologic tools for the treatment of pain and other conditions such as depression/anxiety
  4. · Describe the current evidence base for integrative therapies such as acupuncture, yogo, tai chi, and mindfulness-based interventions for health conditions such as pain and symptom management
  5. · Describe novel approaches to lifestyle interventions to improve nutrition and/or exercise and evidence for the benefit of these approaches
