Objectives
After attending this course, participants will be able to:

  1. Identify and apply the principles of quality and safety to their practice
  2. Identify potential short-term and long-term improvements in patient care by revealing areas for improvement in the provision of health care of one or multiple clinicians.
  3. Identify opportunities for organizational improvements and optimal patient outcomes.
  4. Discuss and review confidential and non-punitive assessments of care at the individual clinician level.
  5. Demonstrate participation in a responsive environment where the clinician and clinical leadership can work together to address any opportunities for practice improvement and strong organizational performance.
