Objectives

After attending this course, participants will be able to:

Identify and apply the principles of quality and safety to their practice
Demonstrate professional communication and presentation skills
Discuss the importance of developing a relationship with optometry, the closely aligned non-physician discipline
Review and present of sub-specialty current topics and research by interdepartmental faculty physicians
Discuss the importance of developing relationships with closely aligned medical specialties including neurology and rheumatology
Assess educational needs of residents, faculty ophthalmologists, community ophthalmologists and optometrists with adaptation of our curriculum
