Overview

Online registration is now closed.  You may register onsite.

Although there are many national meetings on HIV infection, most cater primarily to HIV researchers. Moreover, there is a lack of educational programs on clinical HIV management, especially in the greater Northeast region of Ohio. Northeast Ohio includes Cleveland, a metropolitan area experiencing one of the highest HIV rates in the state. The region is widely affected by the opioid epidemic, and has sociodemographic characteristics that create barriers to HIV prevention, early identification, and HIV treatment and care. This conference will bring together local providers who are experienced in treating people living with HIV and nationally recognized experts to address current issues in HIV treatment and prevention. The 2024 conference will include an evening keynote presentation with dinner and a full day in person educational conference. To reflect the reality of clinical HIV management today, the conference will be inter-professional in nature; physicians, physician assistants, nurses and nurse practitioners, pharmacists, social workers, psychologists, and other healthcare workers are invited to attend.
