1. Recognize which children are at risk for low bone mineral density (BMD) and low-energy fracture
2. Describe preventive measures to decrease risk in this population
3. Identify techniques used in evaluation of BMD and what the measurements mean
4. Describe interventions for treating low BMD in this population
5. Define the terms compassion fatigue, secondary traumatic stress, vicarious trauma, burnout and compassion satisfaction, and understand the implications of each in relation to healthcare providers
6. Describe the trajectory and staging of compassion fatigue
7. Define compassion satisfaction and its role in mitigating the risks of compassion fatigue
8. Describe strategies for self-compassion and resiliency
